سُوْرَةُ النَّبَاِ
Surah An-Naba (78) — Ayah 8
وَخَلَقْنَـٰكُمْ أَزْوَٰجًا ﴿8﴾

And We have created you in pairs (male and female, tall and short, good and bad, etc.).

The Creation of Male and Female:
For the survival of the species, We created two major types of humans: male and female. Each of these types has a natural attraction for the other. Both become a source of comfort and tranquility for each other. Love and affection develop between them. Both are an essential need for each other, and it is difficult for them to live without one another. The purpose of the survival of the human species was not insignificant. By creating attraction, tranquility, and love between them, Allah Almighty made human life very delightful.
