Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

41. Indeed, the righteous [24] will be amid shades and springs.

[24] Here, the word "muttaqin" is used in contrast to "mukazzibin." That is, those people who affirmed the signs of Allah and the Day of Resurrection, who feared Allah and the hardships of the Day of Judgment, and who, fearing accountability before Allah for their deeds, obeyed Allah as much as possible. The outcome for such people will be that they will be in the cool and peaceful shades of Paradise. There will be abundant springs of cool and sweet water. The finest and most desirable fruits will be available for them to eat. No matter how much they eat or drink, they will not suffer any discomfort. And it will be said to them that this is the reward for the deeds you used to perform in the world. And this statement from Allah will be merely to honor and encourage them, for in reality, as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, no one will enter Paradise because of their deeds, but only by the grace and mercy of Allah.
