The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
31. He admits whom He wills into His mercy, but for the wrongdoers He has prepared a painful punishment [34].
[34] That is, whoever in this world uses his free will correctly and, like the other things in the universe, keeps himself obedient to Allah, Allah will, by His mercy, admit him to Paradise. And whoever misuses this free will and lives as rebellious and disobedient to Allah, He will, upon his death, subject him to a painful punishment.
