Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

5. But man desires to continue in his sinful ways, defying Allah’s commands [4].

[4] The real issue is not that man does not consider Allah Almighty capable of recreating him. Rather, the real issue is that by accepting this, he does not want to impose restrictions on his free lifestyle. He knows very well that if he accepts the belief in the Hereafter, he will have to obey Allah and His Messenger and live a very disciplined and cautious life. The simple solution he has found is to deny the Day of Resurrection altogether. And his condition is exactly like that of a pigeon who, upon seeing a cat, closes its eyes and deceives itself into thinking that the danger has now passed.
