Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

Selfless Service and Patience for Allah:
To serve someone selflessly is a task of great courage. A person usually desires that if he does any worldly or religious good to someone, he should definitely receive some form of recompense for it. In fact, at times, a person’s nature desires that the reward for the favor he has done to someone should be even greater than what he gave. This mindset is purely selfish and materialistic. Therefore, for the great purpose for which you were being prepared, and in the manner in which you were to be entrusted with the service of guiding all of humanity, you were instructed from the very beginning that you must do good to people, both in religious and worldly matters, without any expectation of benefit, greed, self-interest, or compensation. And whatever hardships youﷺ face in this path, you must endure them cheerfully for the sake of Allah’s pleasure. Allah the Exalted will grant you a great reward for these things.
