10. It will not be easy [7] for the disbelievers.
The Belief in the Day of Judgment and Its Concept:
In this verse, it is clarified that the day when the trumpet will be blown, that is, when the Day of Judgment will come, it will be a very hard day for the disbelievers. The clear implication of this is that the day will not be hard for the believers, and perhaps the believers are not mentioned here because, before the coming of that day, the believers will already have been taken away from the world. As is explicitly stated in the hadith: ﴿لا تقوم الساعة الاعليٰ شرار الخلق﴾ meaning the Day of Judgment will only be established upon the worst of people. [مسلم۔ کتاب الامارۃ۔ باب لاتزال طائفۃ من امتی]
