Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
23. I can only convey Allah’s command and His messages. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger, then for him [21] is the fire of Hell, in which they will abide forever.
[21] Remember that the original addressees of these verses are the polytheists of Makkah, who would not refrain from shirk at any cost, and this was their disobedience to Allah and His Messenger. The punishment for such polytheists is indeed eternal Hell. But for Muslims, who are at least free from shirk, if they happen to commit any act of disobedience to Allah and His Messenger, their punishment is not eternal Hell. Rather, after giving them appropriate punishment, Allah will remove them from Hell. And it is also possible that if He wills, He may even forgive them.
