Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

And Noah said: "My Lord! Do not leave upon the earth [16] any inhabitant from among the disbelievers.

[16] Apparently, it seems that Noah ؑ made this supplication out of anger and impatience, being fed up with the attitude of his people. However, the matter is quite the opposite; he did not make this supplication out of impatience, but rather after a lifetime—that is, after nine hundred and fifty years of preaching—based on experience and in a state of utmost despair. And his supplication was exactly in accordance with the will of Allah. Even if he had not made such a supplication, the appointed time of punishment for them had already arrived, and the proof of this is in Surah Hud, verse 36, which is as follows: And it was revealed to Noah ؑ that none of your people will believe except those who have already believed, so do not grieve over what they have been doing.
