وَجَعَلَ ٱلْقَمَرَ فِيهِنَّ نُورًا وَجَعَلَ ٱلشَّمْسَ سِرَاجًا ﴿16﴾

And made the moon a light within them and the sun a lamp [9].
[9] These shining moon and sun in the heavens are not just sources of light for us, but human life depends on them to a great extent. Because of the sun, night and day come into existence on our earth. The seasons change. Crops ripen, fruits become juicy, and from these things, humans and other living creatures get their food. Are these not great favors of Allah upon you? Yet you become ungrateful and disloyal to Allah?
