Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

2. Which none can avert from the disbelievers [1].

[1] The disbelievers would constantly demand such a punishment. They would even supplicate to Allah for such a thing against themselves, as mentioned in verse 32 of Surah Al-Anfal, where the disbelievers said, "O Allah! If this Quran is truly revealed from You, then rain down upon us stones from the sky or bring upon us a painful punishment." In narrations, two names are mentioned among those who made such a supplication: Abu Jahl bin Hisham and Nadr bin Harith. This supplication shows that they were absolutely unwilling to accept the Quran as revealed from Allah, nor did they have any regard for the warnings of the Quran. This was their demand regarding worldly punishment. As for those who demanded punishment of the Hereafter, there were many who, out of mockery and ridicule, would say to the Prophet ﷺ, "Why do you not bring the punishment with which you threaten us?" or they would say, "When will that punishment you keep warning us about come?" In response, Allah Almighty said that the punishment will surely come, and whenever it comes, there will be no good for you; no one will be able to save you from it.
