Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

14. And all that is on earth, if only he could save himself [9].

[9] In this world, it can sometimes be seen that a father sacrifices himself for his son, a son for his father, a husband for his wife, a wife for her husband, a mother for her son, a son for his mother, and a friend for a friend. Although such examples are rare, they do exist. But on that Day, the criminal will think that, let alone my mother, father, and children, the whole world may go to Hell for all I care, as long as I am saved from the torment of Hell. But this wish of his will never be fulfilled.
