Surah Al-A'raaf (7) — Ayah 39

وَقَالَتْ أُولَىٰهُمْ لِأُخْرَىٰهُمْ فَمَا كَانَ لَكُمْ عَلَيْنَا مِن فَضْلٍ فَذُوقُوا۟ ٱلْعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْسِبُونَ ﴿39﴾
The first of them will say to the last of them: "You were not better than us, so taste the torment for what you used to earn."
وَقَالَتْ waqālat And (will) say
أُولَىٰهُمْ ūlāhum (the) first of them
لِأُخْرَىٰهُمْ li-ukh'rāhum to (the) last of them
فَمَا famā Then not
كَانَ kāna is
لَكُمْ lakum for you
عَلَيْنَا ʿalaynā upon us
مِن min any
فَضْلٍۢ faḍlin superiority
فَذُوقُوا۟ fadhūqū so taste
ٱلْعَذَابَ l-ʿadhāba the punishment
بِمَا bimā for what
كُنتُمْ kuntum you used to
تَكْسِبُونَ taksibūna earn
