Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
He further said, "In this earth you will live, in it you will die [22], and from it you will be brought forth (again)."
[22] The Character of Satan and the Comparison with Righteous Humans:
That is, on this earth, the confrontation between the progeny of Iblis and the progeny of Adam will continue until the Day of Resurrection, when the trumpet will be blown for the first time. In this confrontation or the battle between truth and falsehood, the followers of Satan will have exactly those traits which Iblis represented—that is, they will deviate from the truth and disobey Allah. Upon being warned, instead of admitting their sins, they will become even more rebellious. Then, not only will they themselves rebel, but they will also try to mislead others through deceit, trickery, and false promises. And if any punishment descends because of their disobedience, they will blame others. Now, in contrast to them, the qualities of the righteous will be the same as those represented by Sayyiduna Adamؑ. That is, in essence, they will be obedient to Allah; if they make mistakes, it will be unintentionally due to some satanic prompting. They will soon realize their mistake, accept it as their own fault, and repent before Allah.
