Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

They both said, "Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us [20] and have mercy on us, we will surely be among the losers."

The Difference Between the Characteristics of Iblis and Adamؑ:

From these verses, the difference between the nature of Satan and Adamؑ becomes clear, which is as follows:
(1) Iblis disobeyed Allah deliberately, whereas Adamؑ did so out of forgetfulness.
(2) When Iblis was questioned, instead of admitting, he showed arrogance and became haughty, but when Adamؑ was questioned, he admitted and repented before Allah.
(3) Iblis put the blame for his disobedience and misguidance on Allah, whereas Adamؑ admitted that indeed the fault was their own.
(4) Because of these crimes, Iblis was declared accursed and rejected from the Divine Presence forever, while Adamؑ, due to his admission of fault and repentance, became close to Allah and was granted prophethood.
