The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
198. And if you call them to guidance, they do not hear you. You see them looking at you, but in fact, they do not see anything [196].
[196] The Condition of the Idols:
In this verse, the idols of the polytheists are mentioned again: they make their eyes large and wide open, so that it appears as if they are staring at you intently, even though they have no vision at all. Also, the addressees of this verse can be considered the polytheists and deniers themselves, who seem to see with their physical eyes, but do not see anything with the eyes of their hearts and do not use their insight for anything.
