Do they not look in the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all things that Allâh has created; and that it may be that the end of their lives is near. In what message after this will they then believe?

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

And have they not considered the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and everything that Allah has created? And have they not thought that perhaps their appointed time has drawn near? So after this warning from the Prophet, what [185] message will they believe in?

Here, "hadith" refers to the Noble Quran, meaning that their companion, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, has warned them about their fate in the Hereafter, which they will certainly have to face, and no one knows the time of death. Therefore, they should believe in this Messenger and this Book as soon as possible, lest they remain engaged in their own thoughts or in opposition to it, and suddenly death comes upon them, and then nothing remains except regret and remorse.
