Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

154. And when Moses' anger subsided, he picked up the tablets. In their inscription was guidance [151] and mercy for those who fear their Lord.

Publication of the Torah:

After praying for forgiveness and mercy for himself and his brother, Allah Almighty conveyed His decision regarding the calf-worshippers. By that time, the anger of Sayyiduna Musa (peace be upon him) had subsided, so he picked up the tablets from the ground. Then, copies of these tablets were prepared for the various tribes. Although they contained guidance for life and, in this respect, were also a mercy from Allah, this guidance could only benefit the one who believed that it truly came from Allah for their guidance and who acted upon it with fear of Allah. But those who themselves are not seekers of guidance will not receive guidance from them.
