وَإِنَّا لَنَعْلَمُ أَنَّ مِنكُم مُّكَذِّبِينَ ﴿49﴾
And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Qur’ân). (Tafsir At-Tabarî)
وَإِنَّا wa-innā And indeed, We
لَنَعْلَمُ lanaʿlamu surely know
أَنَّ anna that
مِنكُم minkum among you
مُّكَذِّبِينَ mukadhibīna (are) deniers

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

49. And We certainly know that some among you [26] are deniers.

[26] That is, those people who want to avoid the wrong path and its evil consequences will certainly take admonition from this Quran. And those who have no concern for their own reform, or do not consider it necessary, neither regard the Quran as the word of Allah nor take any admonition from it. But a time will come when they will deeply regret their attitude, and their denial of the Quran will become a cause of intense remorse and regret for them. However, at that time, their regret will be of no benefit.
