On What Grounds Is It Wrong for the Quraysh to Call You Mad?
All these situations are clear testimony that, by the grace of Allah, you ﷺ are not mad, and the Quraysh of Makkah who call you by this title are liars and speaking nonsense. This is because a madman does not have any defined purpose in his life, whereas you openly call towards the path of Allah. Furthermore, there is never any consistency between the words and actions of a madman, because he is not conscious enough to know what he has said and what he is doing. Thirdly, a madman always speaks incoherently and utters nonsensical things, whereas these very people have already certified you as truthful and trustworthy. Therefore, how can it be possible to consider their accusation correct? They only call you mad out of malice, enmity, and to satisfy their own frustration.
