Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

Then when they see it (the punishment) approaching, the faces of the disbelievers will be distressed [30], and it will be said to them, "This is what you used to ask for."

[30] That is, at this time you mock and make sarcastic remarks about the Resurrection and life after death, but when you see it actually happening, your condition will be the same as that of a criminal sentenced to death when he sees the gallows. The expression on your face will change, and you will be struck with terror. At that time, the angels will address you and say: This is the Day of Resurrection for which you used to hasten. Do you now believe in it or not?
