Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

How is the Quran a Blessed Book?

It was only the blessedness of the Noble Quran that transformed an ignorant nation like the Arabs—who, due to tribal prejudice, were constantly at war and fighting each other—into a civilized people, completely changing their condition within just a few years. Their morals and habits became so elevated that this very ignorant, wild, and uncouth nation became the leaders of all the nations of the world. They subdued great powers and, after gaining control over a large part of the world, became the means of spreading knowledge and civilization among them. The teachings of the Quran lifted them from the depths of humiliation to the highest stations of honor.
[94]
Four Proofs that the Noble Quran is the Word of Allah:

In the previous verse, it was established that the Word of Allah can be revealed to a human. From this, it is self-evident that the Word of Allah can be revealed to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, whom everyone acknowledges as a human. As for the matter of whether this Book, the Quran, is in fact the Word of Allah, four proofs have been presented for this. The first is that this Book is so full of goodness and blessing that it provides guidance for every aspect and field of your life, teaching correct beliefs, noble morals, and how to live a pure life, and it presents the best principles for the welfare and well-being of humanity. The second proof of its being from Allah is that its fundamental teachings are the same as those of the previous divine books. It does not present anything new, but rather confirms and supports those things that were presented in the earlier books. Thirdly, the purpose of this Book is to shake people who are immersed in heedlessness from their slumber and to warn them of their evil end, and you ﷺ have been instructed to begin this task from this central city of Makkah and its surrounding towns. The fourth point, which has been mentioned as a result, is that only those people will receive guidance from this Book who are not slaves to their own desires, but rather fear Allah and the reckoning of the Last Day, and as a clear sign of this, they regularly guard their prayers. And all these are such things that cannot be found in any book authored by a human being.
