Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
87. And from among their fathers, their descendants, and their brothers, We chose some of them and guided them to the straight path [88].
[88] Besides this group of all these Prophets (peace be upon them), We also blessed many people from among their fathers, forefathers, families, descendants, and their brothers with guidance towards the straight path. And the noteworthy aspect of this guidance is that they were monotheists and extremely averse to polytheism, because polytheism is such an evil calamity that if even the aforementioned Prophets had committed it, all their deeds would have been rendered void. This statement is made for the sake of argument and as a severe warning for others; otherwise, it is impossible for Prophets to commit polytheism. In fact, the very purpose of the Prophets’ mission is to eradicate polytheism and to connect the servants directly to Allah Almighty.
