Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

2. He is the One Who created you from clay, then decreed a term (for your death), and another fixed term is with Him (for the Resurrection). Yet you doubt [2] (about Allah).

The Second Proof:

That is, Abu’l-Bashar, our master Adam ؑ, was created from clay. Then all your nutritional needs are also fulfilled from this very clay. Then, after death, you will also merge into this clay, as if He created you from a lifeless thing and granted you life, and in the same way, He will merge the living into a lifeless thing. Then do you not understand that He will raise you again from this very clay and that He is capable of granting such life? Therefore, if you reflect, you should neither have any doubt about Allah nor about the Day of Resurrection. In this verse, the first word "ajal" refers to the time until a person's death, which is the minor resurrection (qiyamah sughra) for every individual. Thus, the Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever dies, his resurrection has been established." And "ajal musamma" refers to the Day of Resurrection or the major resurrection (qiyamah kubra), when all people will be raised from their graves and will be questioned and held accountable before Allah.
