Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
And this Book (the Qur’an) which We have revealed is blessed [178], so follow it and be mindful of Allah, so that you may be shown mercy.
[178] How is the Quran more blessed than the Torah? There are several aspects in which the Quran is more blessed than the Torah. One is that the Torah was revealed for the guidance of only one nation, that is, the Children of Israel, whereas the Quran is for all people and addresses all the nations of the world. Secondly, the Torah was for a specific period, whereas the Quran is until the Day of Judgment. Thirdly, the Torah only presented solutions to national issues, while the Quran provides answers to the problems of all humanity. Furthermore, it encompasses the subjects of all previous heavenly books and scriptures. Therefore, you do not need to look left or right. If you wish to receive an abundant share of mercy from Allah, then follow it. And always fear Allah regarding the possibility that you might violate any part of this Book.
