Translation by Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan & Dr. Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali
Yet, they join the jinn as partners in worship with Allâh, though He has created them (the jinn); and they attribute falsely without knowledge sons and daughters to Him. Be He Glorified and Exalted above all that (evil) they attribute to Him.

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
Yet they have made the jinn partners with Allah [103], though He created them. And they falsely attribute to Him sons and daughters without knowledge. Exalted is He and far above what they describe.
[103] The Belief of Allah Having Offspring:
Despite all these signs of Allah and knowing that no being besides Allah is a partner in their creation, these polytheists, merely based on their own conjecture and imagination, decided that how could Allah alone manage the entire system of such a vast universe? It is necessary that in this whole system, and in the making and breaking of human destinies, several other hidden beings must also be partners. There is a god of rain, one of vegetation, one who fills fruits with juice, a goddess of wealth, one of health, and one of disease and illnesses, and so on. Such absurd ideas are found among all the polytheistic nations of the world. Generally, this has been the practice of all star-worshipping nations, who make idols of the spirits of these stars and their imaginary forms. The Quran has mentioned these spirits sometimes as jinn and sometimes as devils. Then these people, by continuing the lineage of these gods and goddesses, compiled an entire mythology. In the Indian, Egyptian, Greek, and Babylonian civilizations, the belief in the worship of such hidden spirits has generally been found. Among these gods and goddesses, some were even declared to be sons and daughters of Allah. The Arabs also considered angels to be the daughters of Allah. Allah gave this answer: the jinn are Allah’s creation, and whoever is created can be a servant and slave, but cannot be a partner. And when Allah has no wife, and He has no need of her, then how can He have sons and daughters?
