Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

26. And We sent Noah and Abraham, and placed prophethood and the Book among their descendants. Some of them are rightly guided, but most of them are rebellious [44].

The Principle of Prophethood:

The principle of prophethood is that before the creation of mankind, it was prevalent among the jinn. Man is the noblest of all creatures; therefore, upon the creation of Adam, it was transferred to humans, and the very first prophet was Sayyiduna Adam ؑ himself. Later, this chain was limited only to the descendants of Nuh ؑ. And after Sayyiduna Ibrahim ؑ, it became exclusive to his progeny. Afterwards, all the prophets (peace be upon them) who were sent were from the descendants of Sayyiduna Ibrahim ؑ. All the prophets continued to emphasize to their children and their communities to avoid disbelief, polytheism, division, and dissension, but only a few people accepted the injunction and advice of the prophets. Otherwise, the majority of people became involved in disbelief and polytheism, and the single community was fragmented into pieces.
