سُوْرَةُ الْوَاقِعَةِ
Surah Al-Waaqia (56) — Ayah 75
۞ فَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِمَوَٰقِعِ ٱلنُّجُومِ ﴿75﴾

So I swear by the setting of the stars.

75. I swear by the positions of the stars [35].
[35] ﴿مَوَاقِعُ النُّجُوْمِ﴾ can also mean the place where the stars fall. In the vast expanse of space, there are countless planets that are constantly breaking and falling, and its second meaning is also the place or time where the stars set. That is, the western horizon where we see the stars setting, or the time of the appearance of morning light, when the stars disappear. Whatever meaning is taken, it refers to the movement of the stars and that complex, astonishing, interconnected, and organized system in which they travel in their respective orbits. Reflecting on this, a person is compelled to acknowledge the wisdom and vast knowledge of that All-Powerful Being who is controlling this universe.
