كَأَمْثَـٰلِ ٱللُّؤْلُؤِ ٱلْمَكْنُونِ ﴿23﴾
Like unto preserved pearls.
كَأَمْثَـٰلِ ka-amthāli Like
ٱللُّؤْلُؤِ l-lu'lu-i pearls
ٱلْمَكْنُونِ l-maknūni well-protected

[12] So that their luster and brilliance are not diminished by dust and dirt. The houris of Paradise, in their beauty, charm, and radiance, will in no way be less than precious pearls, so they will be protected just as gold, jewels, and pearls are protected.
