[42] That is, you express astonishment as if you are hearing about resurrection after death for the very first time. Whereas all the prophets have conveyed this same message. Now, what should have happened is that you would fear your end and begin to weep out of fear of Allah. But instead, you mock these matters and, heedless of the outcome, spend your time in play and amusement.
