Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

And how many angels there are in the heavens whose intercession will be of no avail at all, except after Allah gives permission to whom He wills and approves [17].

The Principle of Intercession:

Your deities have no status whatsoever; even if all the angels in the heavens were to intercede for you together, they would not be able to benefit you in any way. The reason is that intercession will only be accepted for the one for whom Allah wills, and Allah has already decided regarding the polytheists that He will never forgive them, so how can they intercede for you? Furthermore, only those will be able to intercede who have been granted permission by Allah to do so, whether they are humans or angels. There is no question of intercession by your stone deities whom you consider to be angels and daughters of Allah. Therefore, your wishes can never be fulfilled.
