Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

His sight did not swerve [10], nor did it transgress.

[10] Upon this lote tree, the lights and manifestations of Allah Almighty were shining, presenting an extremely beautiful scene, which dazzled the eyes. But despite so many lights and manifestations, when you ﷺ saw Jibreel, your ﷺ eyes were neither dazzled nor did your gaze turn away, meaning that your gaze did not wander here and there, unable to bear the sight. Rather, you ﷺ saw Jibreel properly, and whatever Allah Almighty intended to show, that is exactly what you ﷺ saw. Your ﷺ gaze remained fixed on that, it did not turn elsewhere.
