Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
Near it is the Garden of Refuge (Jannat al-Ma'wa) [9].
[9] The Location and Importance of ﴿سدرة المنتهيٰ﴾:
﴿سِدْرَةُ﴾ means the lote tree, which bears the fruit called "ber." And "Muntaha" means the utmost boundary. That is, the lote tree located at the utmost boundary, which is situated on the seventh heaven. Here, the knowledge of the lower world ends, and the effusions of the higher world descend from this point downward. Even the angels cannot go beyond this place. It was at this very place, on the night of Mi'raj, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw Sayyiduna Jibreel in his true form (M.Q). And it also means the lote tree on the right side of the Divine Throne, which is the furthest limit of the reach of the angels, etc. (Munjid). Furthermore, it is the place where the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was granted divine effusions and great rewards (Mufradat). From this verse, some scholars have deduced that the Paradise which the righteous will receive in the Hereafter is in the heavens.
