Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

Entry into Paradise Will Be Only by Allah’s Mercy:

After the entry of the pious into Paradise, from Allah’s statement that they will be saved from the punishment of Hell, it becomes clear that entry into Paradise is a separate blessing from Allah, and being saved from the punishment of Hell is another distinct blessing. And in some places, Allah has clearly stated in the Quran that being saved from the punishment of Hell is itself a great success. Thus, the real criterion of success is to be saved from the punishment of Hell. As for entry into Paradise, it will be only by Allah’s grace and mercy. Accordingly, Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah ؓ narrates that I heard the Prophet ﷺ say, “No one will enter Paradise because of his deeds.” The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them all) asked, “O Messenger of Allah! Not even you?” He ﷺ replied, “Not even I, unless Allah’s grace and mercy envelop me.” [بخاری، کتاب المرضیٰ۔ باب تمنی المریض الموت]
