Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

The Different Names and Location of Mount Tur:
Tur is also called Tur Sinai and Tur Sinin. Sinai and Sinin are both names for the same mountain, whose elevation is 7,260 feet above sea level, and it lies on the route from Midian to Egypt or from Egypt to Midian (in the region of Shaam (the Levant)). It was at this very place that Musa ؑ was honored with conversing with Allah Almighty twice. One of the peaks of this mountain is called Tur, and the valley at the foot of this mountain is called Tuwa, which is referred to in the Quran as the Sacred Valley and the Blessed Spot. When Musa ؑ brought the Children of Israel out of Egypt, they passed through this very route. Mount Tur is called Tur Sinin due to this association.
