Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
And in the heaven is your provision and whatever you are promised [15][16].
[15] The means of sustenance for humans, in fact for all living creatures, is the rain that descends from the sky. The sky here may refer to the clouds or to the actual sky itself. For, in every region, the command for the amount of rain destined to fall is sent down from the sky, and everyone receives their allotted sustenance; it cannot be withheld by anyone, and only as much is received as is destined for them—no more can be obtained. [16] Sustenance is given to a person so that he may live and work, but how long he will work in the world, and when and where he will die—this decision is sent down from the heavens. Also, here the promise refers to the promise of the Day of Resurrection, gathering and resurrection, reckoning and questioning, reward and punishment, and Paradise and Hell. The promise of these events occurring has been given in all the heavenly books. All decisions regarding the Day of Resurrection and related matters are made in the higher realm.
