Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

And in your own selves [14] as well. Will you not then see?

Signs in Man’s Own Existence:

Man’s own existence and the machinery within him is a microcosm, and the signs within it are in no way less than the signs of the macrocosm. Man’s stomach works day and night like a mill, constantly grinding food to prepare a mixture. When it is done, it demands more food, which we call hunger. If there is a shortage of water in the preparation of this mixture, we feel thirsty and are compelled to eat and drink. Then, inside it, there is also a sieve through which this mixture is filtered and passes to the liver, where machines and forces that eject, expel, purify, and draw are at work. Here, other humors are also formed. The kidneys expel excess water through the passage of urine. The expulsive force works to expel excess material or waste. And just as man is compelled to eat and drink, he is also compelled to relieve himself, and if he withholds, he falls ill. Then, in the human body, there are such fine vessels whose openings cannot be seen without a microscope. Through these, blood reaches the parts of the human body. In this process, the human heart acts as a pump, which, if it stops even for a minute, death occurs. Then, man’s breathing is also a separate, complete system. The most delicate are the layers and membranes of the eye, which are made with such subtlety that if there is even a slight defect, vision is lost. From the beginning, the human body has been the focus of research for physicians and doctors, yet most of its secrets remain veiled to this day. By reflecting on these signs of the body, the same two results are obtained as are obtained by reflecting on the system of the universe, and which have been mentioned in the previous annotation.
