Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

And on the earth are many signs [13] for those who have sure faith.

Various Signs of Divine Power in the Earth:

By this are meant those signs that are scattered throughout the universe, and the Quran repeatedly draws attention to reflecting upon them. These include the alternation of night and day, the changing of seasons and the gradual system within them, the entire system of rainfall, the revival of dead earth through it, the growth of various kinds of plants, grains, and fruits, and the provision of sustenance for all creatures from this produce, the treasures buried within the earth, the seas and mountains, and even mankind’s authority and dominion over most things in the universe and over animals. In short, such signs are countless and innumerable. The common factor found in all of them is that all these things have been created for the benefit of mankind. And within all of them is found such an order and system that, because of it, they prove beneficial for humans. If such a coherent order and system were not present in them, then each and every thing would have been enough to destroy mankind. This very matter indicates that the Creator of all these can only be one Being, and secondly, that some beneficial result should emerge from this coherent order and system of the universe, and that result is the Hereafter.
