Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
But when the truth came to them, they denied it. So they are in a confused state [6].
[6] The Confusion of the Disbelievers Regarding the First Objection:
All the disbelievers of Makkah were united in denying your ﷺ prophethood and in claiming that the Quran was not revealed from Allah. But now they could not figure out what to call the Prophet of Islam and the Quran. Because neither was the Prophet of Islam an ordinary man, nor was the Quran an ordinary or common book, and all the disbelievers could see this. Sometimes they would say that this Prophet is a poet and this book is poetry; sometimes they would say this Prophet is a soothsayer and this book is soothsaying; sometimes they would say this Prophet is a magician and this book is magic; sometimes they would say that this Quran is just old stories which this Prophet has himself composed and presented before us. These contradictory and differing statements themselves are proof that these people have become completely entangled in their own stance.
