Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
86. And those who disbelieve and deny Our signs [130], they are the people of the Fire.
[130] Consider this: these Christians were also People of the Book, and the Jews of Madinah and their leaders were also People of the Book. But in terms of their attitude towards the Muslims, there is a difference between them as vast as the earth and the sky. This difference has been mentioned in the previous verse. In terms of being People of the Book and claiming monotheism, the Jews should have, like the Christians, been closer to the Muslims rather than to the polytheists, but the situation was the opposite. The Jews denied those verses of Allah which were present in the Torah. Therefore, the punishment for such evil-doers can only be Hell.
