Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

Say, "O People of the Book! Do not go to extremes in your religion unjustly, and do not follow people who went astray before and led many astray [123], and strayed from the right path."

The Philosophy of Misguidance?

These people are the same Greek philosophers whose thoughts and ideas influenced the Christian scholars and monks, leading them to invent the doctrine of the Trinity in the fourth century CE. Then, due to the patronage of the government, this doctrine gained popularity. From this, it is also evident that philosopher-type people are themselves misguided and also become a cause of misguidance for others. For examples of excessiveness among Muslims, see [ديكهئے سورة فرقان كا حاشيه نمبر 2]
And Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah narrates that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Those who split hairs (due to sectarianism) have perished.” He said this three times. [مسلم۔ كتاب العلم۔ باب النهي عن اتباع متشابه القرآن]
