Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

Say, "Do you worship besides Allah that which has no power to harm or benefit you [122]? And Allah is the All-Hearing, All-Knowing."

[122] In this verse, the fourth argument is presented to refute the divinity of ‘Isa (peace be upon him) and his mother, namely that neither of them had control over their own benefit or harm. The Jews caused them pain and suffering, and they could not even defend themselves on their own. When the Jews accused Lady Maryam of adultery, Allah declared her innocence and clearly explained her miraculous birth, yet the Jews still did not desist. And throughout the life of ‘Isa (peace be upon him), they continued to persecute him, to the extent that they conspired with the government to have him crucified. But neither of them could defend themselves, nor could they harm the Jews in any way. Then how can they be considered Allah, or gods, or partners in divinity?
