It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
118. If You punish them, they are Your servants; and if You forgive them, [169] surely You are the Mighty, the Wise.
[169] Then ‘Isa (Jesus) ؑ will intercede for them in a most wise manner. First, after proclaiming the greatness of Allah, he will say that if You punish them, they are Your servants; they can neither utter a word nor escape anywhere. And if You forgive them, then how magnificent is Your attribute of forgiveness. In any case, You have power over everything and every action of Yours is full of wisdom. If Your wisdom demands their punishment, still You are sovereign, and if You forgive, You are sovereign as well.
