وَيُدْخِلُهُمُ ٱلْجَنَّةَ عَرَّفَهَا لَهُمْ ﴿6﴾
And admit them to Paradise which He has made known to them (i.e. they will know their places in Paradise better than they used to know their homes in the world). [Tafsir Ibn Kathir ]
وَيُدْخِلُهُمُ wayud'khiluhumu And admit them
ٱلْجَنَّةَ l-janata (to) Paradise
عَرَّفَهَا ʿarrafahā He has made it known
لَهُمْ lahum to them

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

6. And He will admit them to Paradise [7], which He has made known to them [8].

[7] That is, those who are martyred in the way of Allah do not only benefit by becoming a cause for national life. Rather, they themselves also receive many benefits. Even if, from a worldly perspective, they may not appear to be successful. For example, Allah guides them to the right path and does not let their efforts go to waste. Secondly, He removes all kinds of malice from their hearts and corrects their condition. Then He will admit them into Paradise.

The Various Meanings of 'Urf':

This phrase can have three meanings. One is that they will enter such gardens which have already been introduced to them through the Book and the Sunnah, and all those who enter Paradise will know its characteristics. The second meaning is that every inhabitant of Paradise will recognize his own house and dwelling in Paradise. Thus, it is mentioned in Sahih Bukhari, in the Book of "The Beginning of Creation," that the people of Paradise will recognize their homes and residences even more than they recognized their houses in the world. That is, they will face no confusion in recognizing their place of residence, nor will they lose their way. The third meaning is that just as 'arafa means to recognize and 'arrafa means to make someone recognize, similarly, 'arafa also means to apply fragrance and 'arrafa means to perfume and spread fragrance. (Mufradat al-Qur'an) In this sense, it would mean that Allah Almighty has filled Paradise with fragrance for the people of Paradise.
