Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

26. This is because they said to those (Jews) who disliked what Allah had revealed, "We will obey you in some matters [30]." But Allah knows well their secret conversations.

The Secret Pact of the Hypocrites with the Jews:

One reason why Satan was able to so thoroughly deceive them was that these wretched hypocrites had secretly made a deal with the Jews. At the Jews’ request, these hypocrites had also made certain claims that they would keep them informed about the movements of the Muslims and their military activities. And if war broke out, they would not fight against them, but would instead continue to deceive the Muslims. During the war, the hypocrites acted in exactly this manner, and in return, the Jews had also made some promises to them. In other words, the hypocrites were insiders for the Jews and traitors to the Muslims. But Allah knows the secrets of every heart. He would inform the Muslims from time to time about the deeds of these hypocrites, so they would become disgraced and exposed.
