Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

And among them are some (i.e., the hypocrites) who listen attentively to you. Then, when they leave your presence, they ask those who have been given knowledge, "What was it he just said?" These are the ones upon whose hearts Allah has set a seal, and they follow only their [19] desires.

[19] That is, the hypocrites would come to your gatherings and listen attentively to your words only so that they might find some point by which they could cast doubt upon the Prophet’s teachings. Then they would go and ask certain Jewish scholars or some Muslims, “What did this Prophet just say?” And their purpose in this was never to seek guidance from it, but rather to cast others into doubt and suspicion as well. Or, they would interpret your statements in a way that was not your intended meaning. The only reason for this was that they were not willing to accept any restriction on their own desires. When someone reaches this state, that is the time when Allah sets a seal upon his heart, and no guidance can then benefit him.
