Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

23. Hud said, "Knowledge of that is only with Allah. I am conveying to you the message with which I have been sent, but I see that you are an ignorant people." [36]

Drawing the Wrong Conclusion from Something is Also Ignorance, and the Ignorance of the People of Hud:

Their foolishness and ignorance were that they drew the opposite conclusion from what Hud (علیہ السلام) wanted to explain to them. Sayyiduna Hud (علیہ السلام) had explained to them that in this universe, no one besides Allah has any authority to exercise control in any way whatsoever. Not even myself. I am merely a messenger delivering Allah’s message and warning you of your evil end. But in response, they said, “Bring upon us the punishment you threaten us with.” Whereas Hud (علیہ السلام) never claimed that if you deny, I can bring punishment upon you, nor did he claim to have such authority. And their second foolishness was that they would not accept good advice, but were hasty in demanding punishment.
