Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

6. And this was by the mercy of your Lord [4]. Surely, He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

You Were Mercy to the Worlds:

That is, sending a Messenger as a warner to all the people of the world was not only a requirement of Our wisdom, but it was also a demand of Our mercy upon the people of the world. He hears the cries and pleas of the people and also knows their conditions. That is why, exactly according to the need, He sent the Seal of the Prophets ﷺ with the Quran and made him the greatest mercy for all the people of the world. So that humanity, trapped in the misguidance of disbelief and polytheism and immersed in oppression and injustice, may be shown the straight path—how they can be freed from their endless mutual conflicts, looting, and bloodshed, and live a life of peace and tranquility in the world.
