Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
And by the saying of the Messenger: "O my Lord, these are a people who will never believe." [80]
[80] Such a time likely comes upon all prophets, when they exhaust themselves completely in trying to make their people understand. Yet, most people remain as they are, and instead of understanding the words of the prophets, they become enemies of their very lives. At such times, the prophets become deeply disappointed at the prospect of such a people believing, and such words spontaneously escape their tongues. Sayyiduna Nuhؑ also, in a similar state of despair, prayed: "O Allah! Now do not leave a single one of these disbelievers alive. For I have no hope that any offspring born to these wretches will believe. Their offspring too will only be born as sinners and disbelievers." [71: 27] Such was also the situation of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Allah Almighty, swearing by the sincere plea and anguished voice of His Messenger ﷺ, declared that Allah knows very well that these people are determined not to believe. Therefore, Allah will surely help His Messenger and, by His mercy, grant him dominance and elevate His word.
