Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
Or have they resolved upon some plan? If so, We too are planning.
[74] The action of the disbelievers of Makkah was that they would never let the call of Islam flourish. To stop this call, sometimes they would impose restrictions on Muslims reciting the Quran aloud, and sometimes they would blame themselves, saying that the spread of Islam was due to their own negligence and laziness. Sometimes they would meet with visitors coming to Makkah and say, "Do not go near the person who claims to be a prophet, for he sows discord among relatives." And sometimes they would plot to kill the Prophet of Islam. In short, this sentence mentions all the hostile activities of the disbelievers of Makkah. And whatever schemes they devised, Allah’s secret plan would render all their efforts futile. Eventually, all their schemes failed, their hearts continued to burn, and Islam kept gaining dominance.
