Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

They will call out, "O Malik! Let your Lord put an end to us." He will say, "You will remain here forever." [72]

[72] The people of Hell, utterly despairing of any relief or pause from the intensity of the punishment, will call out to the angel of Hell, whose name will be Malik, and say, "Malik! Neither is there any real reduction in our punishment, nor is there ever any pause, so ask your Lord to put an end to us once and for all. Let this story of punishment be finished." Malik will say, "A very long period is required for the punishment of your crimes. Therefore, remove the thought of dying from your minds. You can only be punished by being kept alive. Thus, you will have to remain here, and you will indeed be kept alive."
